There are no human legislators, and the powerful of the day are not allowed to pass whatever laws they want. The Law is regularly read to everyone in the society, so there is no special class of lawyers who only know it. The number of laws is limited to what is in the Bible so that the people remain free of excessive legislation, and secure that the rules won’t ever change by the whim of this or that political manipulator. Under the Law of God, there is no provision whatsoever to control, regulate, ban, or legislate in any other way what a man wants to produce on his own property, including narcotic plants. There is no militarized force of government thugs who have the right to violate property rights and destroy or seize any crops. A man’s property is secure against violation, and he can lose it only when he has committed a real crime and has to pay indemnity or restitution.

Under the laws of men, the government controls everything to the minutest details, to the point where even “legal” crops are seized on pretext of suspicion. Private property is not secure, and the brute force of the government replaces any rights of any individuals.

Under the Law of God, false witnesses are punished by the same punishment they were trying to bring on the innocent person with their false witness (Deut. 19:15-21). There is no special exemption for government thugs in the Law. Under the Law of God, this boy would have been made to work – for a private business that would have bought him out – to pay his victims. After a certain period of time he would have paid off his debts, would have been restored as a full member of the society, and would have acquired the necessary skills to work and prosper on his own, as a restored man.

Under the Law of God, there is no standing army of trigger-happy, uniformed thugs, who have special legal rights to harass innocent people for any possible suspicion or imagination. Unlawful “lawful” seizure

Every person is secure in his possessions and property, and there is no special class of government thugs entitled to steal with impunity. Any forfeiture or penalty must be the result of a court verdict, issued on specific crime, where a specific private victim complained and sued. The government has no right to confiscate any private property against the will of the owner for no reason whatsoever, whether by taxes, penalties, or eminent domain.

Any government thug has the legal right to steal a private individual’s money (civil forfeiture, fines), time (traffic stops, bureaucratic red tape), or property (eminent domain) with no option for restitution to the victim. But what do I know, theonomy is “tyranny,” and we are much better off under the laws of men.

Under the Law of God, there isn’t any provision for a prison system where young men are forced to spend the most productive years of their lives between four walls, in forced idleness, at taxpayers’ expense. Therefore, such horrible crimes of official kidnapping as this judge’s verdicts wouldn’t be possible at all.

Under the laws of man, a prison system is specifically created to destroy the souls of those who are doomed to rot in it, concentrating huge amounts of tax money, creating perfect conditions for corruption.
